What do you do at Magna?
My day to day job at Magna is serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organisation. This can consist of installing and updating software and hardware, whilst supporting clients when challenged. As Team Leader, my job is to also make sure my Team are happy and comfortable when carrying out their work.
How have you arrived at this point in your career?
I first started out as an apprentice with Magna Systems after just passing my first IT course conducted at Lincoln College. I then passed all my exams and got a full-time job within Magna. I have always been grateful for the opportunities I have been given here.
What do you like about working at Magna?
I have always loved working on and around computers and believe it is important to always do something you love every day. The people at Magna are also one of my favourite things about Magna.
How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
I would like to think my colleagues think of me as someone they can rely on when they need help.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love gaming and I have recently taken an interest in Resin making.
What’s your favourite film/ TV series?
I have always been a fan of the fantasy genre and will always have a soft spot for the Supernatural series.
Favourite tipple
It is not often I drink alcoholic drinks but on special occasions I would always go for a Peach Schnapps with Lemonade.
